Privacy Policy and Datenschutzhinweise. Updated: 19.10.2026. This notice covers herzigscience.de and enquiries addressed to Herzig Science.

2. Website delivery and security. When you access this website, our hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data such as IP address, date and time, requested pages, browser and operating system information, referrer information where transmitted, and diagnostic or security records. The purpose is to deliver the website, troubleshoot errors and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website.

3. Hosting. We use Hostinger to provide website hosting, builder and related infrastructure. Hostinger and its relevant infrastructure providers process visitor and enquiry data to deliver these services. 4. Enquiries and quotations. When you contact us by form, email or telephone, we process the contact details, company details and project information that you supply, together with correspondence and technical information needed to handle the request. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where the request concerns a contract with you or steps before that contract. Otherwise Article 6(1)(f) applies to our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and communicating with company representatives. Required fields are identified in the form. Without sufficient contact and project information, we may be unable to respond. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data.

5. Suppliers and cooperation with HGTC. We cooperate with Al-Hazzazi Global Technologies Co. (HGTC) in Saudi Arabia to coordinate equipment enquiries and supplier quotations. Relevant project requirements and necessary business contact details may be disclosed to HGTC and selected manufacturers or service providers only where needed for the requested coordination and supported by a lawful basis. For business representatives, this is generally our legitimate interest in handling the requested business communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Article 6(1)(b) applies where the individual is the prospective contracting party and disclosure is necessary for that request. We limit personal data to what is necessary and use information without personal identifiers wherever sufficient. Disclosure to or access from Saudi Arabia is a transfer outside the EEA. Before any such transfer, we must establish the applicable Chapter V GDPR basis and any required safeguards, such as EU standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures following a transfer assessment. Naming a partner in this notice does not establish those safeguards or authorise unrestricted access to enquiries. You can contact us for information about the recipients, their roles and the safeguards applicable to your request.

6. Cookies and similar technologies. Storage on or access to your device requires consent under § 25(1) TDDDG unless an exception under § 25(2) applies, for example where strictly necessary for a service you request. Any processing of personal data also needs a GDPR legal basis. Optional analytics, advertising or external media requiring consent must remain disabled until that consent is given. You can withdraw consent with future effect through the available privacy settings or by contacting us. Your browser also provides controls for stored cookies.

7. Retention. We keep personal data only for the purposes described and for applicable statutory retention periods. Enquiry data is deleted when the request is resolved and further retention is no longer required for continuing correspondence, contractual obligations, legal claims or statutory record keeping. Technical records are retained only as needed for operation, security and incident investigation.

8. Your rights. Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Contact info@herzigscience.de to exercise your rights. We do not use your enquiry to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
